I was up visiting my uncle in Farmington this past weekend and decided I wanted some food. I called Arkay to see if I could get a delivery. When I called the woman answering my call was very friendly and took in my order saying yes to delivery.
Not to long later at the time they said the pizza arrived. Right now I am on crutches and before I could even ask the delivery driver said do you want me to put it somewhere. I took his offering and he put it on my side table next to the couch so I could put my foot back up and relax. He was a really nice guy and very respectful.
The pizza came piping hot and looking amazing. Since I was a guest I did not have drinks so Arkay was also able to deliver that with the food. The pizza I chose was bacon because.... dur bacon is the best! The pizza was full of flavor with a great sauce, ample bacon, and stringy cheese. I would highly recommend trying Arkay whether just passing through or you live in town. I will be going back on my next visit. -

Best Hoagie evah! Grew up in Farmington and it was always a special treat to have hoagies. 30 plus years later and they are still delicious. Seriously, its ham, cheese and mayo on a toasted hoagie roll. Sounds simple enough but I have yet to get one as yummy anywhere in the USA.
Highly recommend. -

Stop by with an appetite and plenty of napkins!!
My son Peter and I had an exceptional experience stopping by Arkay's coming home from our Spring 2015 fishing trip from the Eustis area.
Can't tell you how many times I have driven by Arkay's not realizing the little "diamond in the rough" that has been here all along. I would have missed it again had it not been for chatting up the guy at The Big Apple where we had stopped for gas. We had told him of the sour experience we had just had at the Homestead Restaurant where they didn't serve us 1 minute after their scheduled close. He then told us if a good sandwich is what you want, go next door to Arkay's.
Unfortunately I am writing this review months after having been there and forget the name of the wonderful burger we had. It was their larger one. Great value for the money and very tasty. A nice little menu for a variety store. Very reasonable prices. The place was clean and had a comfortable, aged presence to it like it had been there awhile.
The ppl there were very friendly and the person who owned Arkay's was there. We spoke and he told me he had just passed the business onto his son as did his Dad pass it on to him. He was stopping by to help out.
I thought I would get this review out on Facebook, but Yelp as it turns out is a better place to get out the word these days.
For the amount of times I have passed by this place over the years, it will now be a must stop from now on. We made good on that promise stopping by from the Fall 2015 fishing trip as well! -

Never judge a book by its' cover. From the outside, the Ar-Kay looks like a small local grocery store but don't let that fool you. This place has a full kitchen inside.
We ordered a pizza, a calzone, a lobster roll and French frys. Everything we had was prepared fresh and cooked perfectly. The cook actually tossed the dough before she cooked the pizza and calzone, and the care in preparation showed. The food was some of the best Italian food of this kind that I have ever had. The lobster roll was also great.
They also have a full menu of subs and grinders that we didn't get to try. One of the best things about our experience at the Ar-Kay was their hospitality. The people are so genuine that they made us feel like family, which you just don't see anymore. Try this place, you'll be glad you did. -

If you drive by, make sure you stop in and get a slice of bacon pizza for the road. Awesome little deli selection. Basic drink options. But it's all about the pizza for me. The price is right and the faces are friendly.
